MySQL Server 8.4.0 and 8.0.37, new versions of the popular Open Source Database Management System, have been released in conjunction with the MySQL Shell, MySQL Router and MySQL 8.4.0 Connectors. We are also pleased to announce the release of MySQL NDB Cluster 8.4.0, the latest GA, along with 8.0.37, 7.6.30, 7.5.34. MySQL NDB Cluster is the distributed, shared-nothing variant of MySQL. MySQL Server 8.4.0 and MySQL NDB Cluster 8.4.0 marks the start of a new series of LTS (Long Term Support) releases. The 8.4.X LTS releases will focus on security and bug fixes.
